Scientific name: Anax junius (Drury)
Facts: Dragonflies come in a variety of colors. Many of them have
patterns on the wings. Dragonflies hold their wings flat when at rest.

large high flying dragonflies which can be difficult to collect. They are
occasionally a problem around bee hives when they prey on bees.
