Individuals who have made significant
contributions to the implementation of the TIARA web site
- Jin-Cheon Na, Graduate Student, CSDL, CPSC, TAMU -- Jin-Cheon was responsible for the development of TIARA web site interface code from 1998 to 2000.
- Erich Schneider, former Graduate Student, CSDL, CPSC, TAMU -- Erich developed the initial code for several interface elements (e.g., the stretch-text classification listing, the county-level Texas mapping functions, and some list-generating functions) that were subsequently modified and incorporated into the TIARA web site. Erich developed these features between 1996 and 1998 as web interface elements designed for botanical bioinformatics projects undertaken by the TAMU-BWG.

Oswald & John J. Leggett (Co-PI's), with Collaborators: Lee A. Fitzgerald, Duane Schlitter and R. Kathryn Vaughn -- This grant supported the extension of the TIARA web interface to include vertebrate data, the incorporation of distributed computing technologies to link data from discrete collection databases, and the development of additional data from the Texas A&M University Insect Collection and the Texas Cooperative Wildlife Collection.
