Biographic
Notes: In my childhood I became
interested in all kinds of wildlife, especially insects. When I was 12 years old
I started to collect insects and to learn the taxonomy of insects by myself.
During this period I gained a lot of knowledge of insects. The beautiful
organisms deeply attracted me and influenced me to choose entomology as my
college major. In 1999 I entered China Agricultural University and became a
student of plant protection. In 2003 I earned my bachelor's degree and received
the opportunity to pursue graduate study. I have chosen insect taxonomy and
systematics as my major. I will spend the next five years earning my doctoral
degree working on the phylogeny of the Megaloptera and Raphidioptera of China.
As a student, I would like to communicate with scientists in this field world
wide and to learn more from researchers with similar interests.
