Current Projects: (1) fauna and ecology of the Neuroptera of
the western Black Sea region (Düzce, Bolu, Zonguldak, Bartin, Karabük,
Kastamonu, Sinop provinces), (2) Neuroptera fauna of the middle Black Sea
Region (Çorum, Amasya, Tokat provinces)
Biographical Notes: I
was born in Kayseri province, Turkey, in 1973 and attended primary, middle and
high school there. In 1991 I matriculated to Gazi University, Faculty of Art
and Science, and graduated in 1995. I began work as a research assistant at
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of
Biology in 1996, and the same year began a master’s degree at Gazi University,
Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Biology, finishing in 1998.
I started my Ph.D. program in 1998 at Gazi University, Institute of Science and
Technology, Department of Biology and finished in 2003. I am currently
working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Sakarya
University, Faculty of Arts and Science.
