Title: Research Assistant
Specialization:  Africanized honey bee
Responsibilities:  Give timely, authoritative identification of honey bees to the subspecies level in support of the Texas Apiary Inspection Service's Africanized Bee Regulatory Program and as a service to the general public of the State of Texas and the bee industry of Texas/USA.

Education: B.S. Biology, Southwestern University, 1986; M.S. Entomology, Texas A&M University, 1990

Special skills: FABIS, USDA-ID procedures for identifying Africanized honey bees; identifying local native plants; compiling databases on insect/host plant associations; WordPerfect, dBASE
