I. Website- Mark Johnsen

· Students were encouraged, for third time, to send a short biography-interests-paragraph to Mark. This will be included under your picture in the EGSO website.

II. Department Head- Mark Johnsen

§ The call is open until the end of April. Mark provided a list of names suggested for the position.

III. BioBlitz – Bobb Gorena

§ Bobb indicated that bioblitz is on April 4-5. Friday, we will have light traps and pig-dung trap. Dr. Wharton will be collecting insects during Friday too. Saturday, butterfly tent and walk-talks.

§ Metamorphosis live!! by Bobb, do not miss it.

§ Veronica will help with Spanish-speaking children.

§ Grads were encouraged to participate.

IV. EntoBlitz- Ryan Caesar

§ Date: April 25-17. Location: Camp Maxey

§ Transportation and food are not provided. However, the camp has bunkhouses, water, electricity, bathrooms, etc.

V. Election of Next Year’s Officers- Mark Johnsen

VI. Miscellaneous

· Grads were invited to lunch with prospective students; usually they meet in Liz Andrus office at noon.

· Again, please send your biography to Mark, so people from all over the planet can recognize what you do and what are your goals.
