• Information delivery systems in Extension
• Extension programs on biological control of weeds with emphasis on musk thistle control by Rhinocycllus conicus
• Evaluation of water quality using benthic macroinvertebrates with rapid bioassessment methods
• Pest survey and detection programs in cooperation with USDA-APHIS-PPQ
• Taxonomic interests in Mordellidae of the world, Buprestidae of North America and economic pests in Texas
