Congratulations to Dr. Greg Cronholm, Extension Agent-IPM, for receiving the Vice Chancellor's Award in Excellence for County Agent in Agricultural and Natural Resources.

Among Mr. Cronholm’s many programs that train pest-identification scouts are the Northern High Plains IPM Scouting Program and the High Plains Scout Training Workshop. He also conducts programs in pesticide safety, youth entomology, and research and demonstration. Information from his demonstrations is published in a weekly newsletter during the growing season and posted on several Extension Web sites as well as on the Texas Pest Management Association Web site. His clientele and colleagues consider him a “go to” source for pest-management information.

One colleague wrote, “He is a recognized educator, leader, and researcher at local, state, national, and international levels and is well respected by his clientele, who consider him and his programs vital to their operations.”
