Kristie Reddick Recieves 2007 Outstaning Grad Student Award

Congratulations to Kristie Reddick on receiving the Ouststanding Graduate Student Award for the Masters category.

Reddick is working on her master's degree in Entomology and her research focuses on arachnids. Currently, Reddick is in Kenya working on her thesis research.

She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from the University of the Arts and has studied Environmental Biology from Lock Haven University, as well as studying abroad in Kenya.

"Kristie is a highly motivated, hard working, and focused individual who embodies the spirit of adventuure needed to achieve the practical outcomes of field-oriented research in an overseas setting," professor Robert Wharton said in a letter sent to the selection committee. "She is an enthusiastic promoter of the science through teaching and outreach."
