Dr. Carlos Bográn

Congratulations to Dr. Carlos Bográn on receiving the Texas Cooperative Extension Superior Service Award in the Diversity Category for 2007.

Carlos is an assistant professor and Extension specialist and specializes in Entomology-Plant Pathology and Microbiology. He has worked on several projects, including such programs including an ‘IPM Workshop’ an IPM certification program targeted to Hispanic workers in the greenhouse
industry.

In addition, he has spearheaded the Texas Greenhouse Crop Consortium, an effort to effectively transfer research results to growers and part of Texas A&M Floriculture and Nursery Research Initiative.
