Troxclair and Parker Receive Awards at Plant Protection Conference

Congratulations Dr. Noel Troxclair and Dr. Roy Parker for receiving awards during the 22nd annual Texas Plant Protection Conference at the Brazos Center in Bryan.
Awards were given during a special awards luncheon during the conference held on December 7.
Parker received the award for outstanding work in the Academic/Agency category. Parker is a Professor and Extension Specialist at the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Corpus Christi.
Assistant Professor and Extension Entomologist Noel Troxclair also placed second in Texas Plant Protection Association'sannual Pest Identification Contest held during the conference.
This is the eighth year TPPA has honored outstanding members that have made either special contributions to the association, to their professions and/or to Texas Agriculture.
