Scientific name: Pangaeus sp.
(Hemiptera: Cydnidae)

Facts: Burrower bugs are pests of various crops especially peanuts. They burrow into the soil and suck on roots and nuts in peanuts. Damage shows up as deformed and poorly flavored peanuts.
