Screwworm

Scientific name: Cochliomyia hominivorax (Coquerel)
(Diptera: Calliphoridae)

Facts: The adult screwworm fly is about twice the size of a house fly and is blue-green with three black stripes on its back between the wings. Adult mouthparts are reduced.
