Scientific name: Alabama argillacea (Hubner)
(Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)

Facts: The cotton leafworm adult moth has uniform tannish colored wings. The immature forms are slender, green to brownish, black and white-striped caterpillars which have four black dots forming a square on the dorsum of each segment. These caterpillars range up to 1 1/2 inches long.
