Scientific name: Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say)
Facts: The Colorado potato beetle is very convex, about 3/8 inch
long, yellow, with five black stripes on each wing cover. Larvae are red
to yellow, humpbacked, and as long as 3/5 inch. Both adults and larvae
feed on potato foliage.
