Scientific name: Cryptolestes pusillus (Schnherr)
(Coleoptera: Cucujidae)

Facts: The flat grain beetle, about 1/16 inch long, is one of the smallest beetles commonly found in stored products. It has a greatly flattened body with antennae about 2/3 as long as the body. Both larvae and adults have chewing mouthparts.
