Scientific name: Family Cicadellidae
Facts: Leafhoppers are small, very active, greenish to brownish,
slender, wedge-shaped, jumping insects. Sizes range from 1/8 to almost
1/2 inch long. They suck plant juices with their piercing-sucking
mouthparts.
