Chicken head louse

Scientific name: Cuclotogaster heterographus (Nitzsh)
(Phthriptera: Philopteridae)

Facts: Chewing lice are small, flat, and wingless. They usually feed on feathers of birds. The chicken head louse is a pest of poultry.
