True Katydid

Scientific name:
(Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae)

Facts: There are many katydids and their relatives. The true katydid has a very wide body and typically is found in trees. Their singing at night is characteristic. Katydids are sometimes called longhorn grasshoppers due to their long thin antennae.
