Frequently Asked Questions

Topic:
Beetles, grub worms
Question:
I am a "do-it-yourselfer" and would like to know what chemical products I could use to get rid of white grubs. Is there a product I could use in the spring?
Answer:
White grubs are best chemically controlled when they are small. Therefore, you should wait until the adult June beetles are done flying in your area, wait six weeks for the eggs to hatch and time your treatment then. The time depends where you are located in Texas, but it is typically June through August. For more details and a discussion of the products available read our publication at the link below.
