Beetles, carpet
Question:
I found small insects that look something like beetles, about 1/16-inch or smaller, dark brown with speckled spots. They keep appearing only in window ledges. Any ideas of what they are and how to get rid of them?
Answer:
They are probably carpet beetles, but there are many other possibilities. You should get a better identification first. Check stored clothing, leather, wool, etc. They may also be in the carpet. They can be controlled with insecticide treatments (even
