Frequently Asked Questions

Topic:
Bats, crickets
Question:
Do bats eat crickets and other insects?
Answer:
Some bats are insectivorous and eat insects while flying. Actually, the calculations on the number of insects eaten by bats are pretty amazing. The bats in the Austin caves consume tons of insects every night. Other bats eat fruit, drink nectar, suck blood, etc.
