Frequently Asked Questions

Topic:
Beetles, click beetle
Question:
I've found a very strange insect in my home, and I want to know if it is dangerous for humans or pets. Can you recognise it? It is about 0.8 cm long.
Answer:
The image you sent looks like a click beetle. Click beetles are harmless to humans and pets. They sometimes enter homes and fly around. Therefore they can sometimes become a nuisance, but that's all the harm they'll do.
