Where can I locate information on your Web site regarding use of beneficial insects for pest control?
Answer:
We have a number of resources on our Web site regarding biological control (also known as biocontrol). The Biological Control of Weeds in Texas provides information about insects used to control weeds. The BioControl group on campus maintains their own site at http://bclaboratory.tamu.edu/ We have an electronic copy of our Field Guide to Common Texas Insects which includes many beneficials. See the link below. Our VegIPM site at http://vegipm.tamu.edu also has a section on beneficial insects, with some nice photos.
