Frequently Asked Questions

Topic:
Fleas
Question:
Several years ago when I used a product called Bio-FleaHalt. I have been searching for several years for this product and can no longer find it. It was made of "dried" nematodes that were "reconstituted" in warm water, then sprayed on a damp lawn. This was the best stuff I ever used for flea infestations. Can you tell me if it is still produced, where I can get it, or what is an equivalent treatment that might be available to the average homeowner?
Answer:
I'm not familiar with this product but will forward your mail onto the folks who specialize in fleas. In general, though, nematode products have been difficult to deliver for sale in a formulation that shows consistent results. You might find a nematode product available under a different name.

Most of the flea management options have now changed to the growth regulators chemicals like Program, Precor, etc. These products have been very effective.
