Interested in Taking an Undergraduate Course in Entomology at Texas A&M University?

Undergraduate students (or students wanting to take a specific undergraduate course) will need to complete the following items*:

  • State of Texas Common Application for Transfer/Transient/Former Students (www.applytexas.org)
    • On Question #12, indicate that you are applying as a “Transient” and indicate the semester in which you are interested in enrolling
    • On Question #13, indicate the University as “Texas A&M University” and the major as Entomology, code as ENTO
  • Statement explaining why enrollment at Texas A&M is desired – basically indicate the courses in which you wish to enroll and why - this essay can be completed and submitted online along with your application
  • Application processing fee ($50.00), which can be submitted online when you complete your application
  • Complete, official transcript showing high school graduation or the highest and latest collegiate course work attempted or completed

This application process will need to be repeated for each semester in which a student is interested in taking an entomology course at Texas A&M University

All required documents must be received by admissions prior to the closing date to be considered. Since the application, application processing fee, and essay can be submitted online, the official transcript should be the only document that would need to be mailed.
